ITA: Cosa è Crescere in Campagna?È un progetto che permette ai bambin* dal primo anno di vita di crescere in armonia con se stessi, con gli altri, con la natura.

Il nostro obiettivo è contribuire a contrastare la povertà educativa nelle aree rurali del territorio in cui viviamo tra Lentini e Carlentini (Sicilia orientale). Facciamo tesoro del potere della natura, dei suoi luoghi, dei suoi cicli, per accompagnare il percorso di crescita dei bambini e delle bambine. Lo facciamo ispirandoci ai principi dell'"asilo nel bosco” calandolo in un territorio rurale che negli ultimi 40 anni ha attraversato trasformazioni profonde: oggi le nostre comunità sono molto distanti dall'ambiente extraurbano nonostante storicamente ne abbia tratto orientamento e ricchezza.

Crescere in Campagna è un servizio ed un progetto gestito dalla comunità educante che lo anima e l’attività principale è l’educazione dei bambin* di età compresa tra 1 e 6 anni, che frequentano l’asilo nel bosco 5 giorni su 7, dalle 8 alle 16 da settembre a giugno.

ABBIAMO BISOGNO DI SOSTEGNO PER CONTINUARE A FAR VIVERE IL NOSTRO PROGETTO  E PER RENDERLO PIù ACCESSIBILE!

Il progetto, per motivi strutturali e formali, non può al momento beneficiare di bonus asilo o simili e riusciamo con difficoltà a coprire i costi di gestione. Le famiglie pagano una retta per ciascun figli*, una retta proibitiva per molti abitanti del nostro territorio.

La nostra richiesta di fondi ha come obiettivo ideale raggiungere la cifra di 20.000 € da destinare ad iniziative per il ciclo 2024-2025. Noi vogliamo:

1) creare borse di studio per rendere il percorso educativo più accessibile.

2) avviare nuove attività destinate a bambine e bambini di altre fasce di età

3) contribuire alla sostenibilità generale del progetto

BORSE DI STUDIO

- Startup mamme. Vorremmo che ogni mamma che iscrive i propri figli possetesse disporre di alcuni mesi gratuiti per incentivare il ritorno alla propria indipendenza, senza dover chiedere niente a nessuno. Tornare a lavorare, prendere la patente, semplicemente rigenerarsi, sono tutte cose che dovrebbero essere garantite ad ogni mamma, senza però dover rinunciare alla possibilità di un percorso “alternativo” per i propri piccoli

- Agevolazione secondo figlio. Vorremmo destinare parte delle risorse per offrire uno sconto a chi ha più di un figlio iscritto.

- Borse di studio permanenti. Un impegno a lungo termine per garantire la copertura dell’intero percorso anche a famiglie che non hanno la possibilità di sostenerne i costi.

NUOVE ATTIVITA'

Vogliamo coinvolgere i bambin* di varie fasce di età che hanno intrapreso percorsi scolastici “al chiuso” ed offrire loro il giusto spazio di sfogo e scoperta della natura, in maniera regolare e strutturata. Vorremmo poter proporre attività gratuite in sinergia con le scuole e le famiglie.

SOSTENIBILITA' GENERALE DEL PROGETTO

Aumentando il numero di iscritti e il numero di educatori/educatrici, potremo:

- rendere il progetto più resiliente;

- prevedere nuovi percorsi personalizzati per fascia di età;

- definire una gestione più razionale dei turni di lavoro;

- creare occasioni di formazione anche per le figure educatrici.

Inoltre, con maggiori risorse finanziarie, potremo implementare spazi e materiali per organizzare meglio le nostre attività.

Il budget raccolto sarà distribuito per riuscire a raggiungere tutti questi obiettivi.

Le donazioni saranno ricevute e gestite direttamente dall'Associazione di Promozione Sociale "Crescere in Campagna", Ente del Terzo Settore registrato al RUNTS.

*Crescere in Campagna* (Growing Up in the Countryside) is a beacon of hope, aiming to nurture the harmonious development of children with nature as their guide. Nestled between Lentini and Carlentini in Eastern Sicily, our initiative strives to address educational poverty in rural areas, reconnecting communities with their agrarian roots.

Inspired by the "forest kindergarten" model, we've tailored our approach to the unique landscape of a region that has seen dramatic changes over the past four decades. Despite a history deeply intertwined with the land, modern life has distanced our communities from the natural world. Crescere in Campagna seeks to bridge this gap, offering a dual service: an educational haven and a parenting support network that fosters family involvement.

Our forest kindergarten welcomes children aged 1 to 6, providing a full-day immersive experience in nature's classroom, five days a week. Three dedicated educators curate a rich tapestry of activities, while parents contribute through voluntary support and engagement in their children's educational journey.
