THE CONTEXT

The club foot in the new born ,with the Ponseti Method , can be cured in a short period and at the age of 40 days, the child is perfectly cured.

The feet are normal like the other chlldren's ones.

With only 4/5 weekly casts and a night brace you can cure the most critical of the club foot!

Unfortunately ,despite of the World Health Organization, in Italy still too many children are cured with the traditional method ,with invasive surgeries with terrible effects .

To solve the problem ,children and teenagers must often still go far from their town.

Some families can't go far from home, sometimes abroad, to repair the damage caused by continuous surgeries and unuseful treatments.

They must go to the hospital near their home, where doctors still use traditional method , condemning, reluctantly, their children to a painful life.

Children without a normal life, they can't play, run, jump.

They only can limp or use crutches. They'll live with handicap.

Help these parents and their children to have a normal life!

The "Associazione Nazionale Piede Torto Congenito" is an association of parents for parents, people who, voluntarily, offer their free time and help, give informations, because all the children can have a normal life.

The proceeds will be completely donated to the needy families, to permit them to reach the Ponseti hospital in Italy or abroad and cure their children in the best way.

IL CONTESTO

La patologia del piede torto congenito nei neonati, se curata con il metodo Ponseti, si risolve facilmente e a 40 giorni di vita il bambino è perfettamente guarito. I piedini saranno normali e uguali a quelli di tutti gli altri bambini. Con 4-5 gessetti settimanali e un tutore notturno si può curare anche il più grave dei piedi torti !

Purtroppo, nonostante le indicazioni dell’Organizzazione Mondiale della Sanità, in Italia ancora troppi bambini sono curati con la sorpassata chirurgia, con interventi invasivi e spesso invalidanti. Per risolvere la patologia dei piedi non corretti in bambini e adolescenti i genitori devono rivolgersi a medici spesso lontano dalla loro città. 

Alcune famiglie sono costrette ad andare all’ospedale vicino a casa, dove utilizzano ancora il metodo tradizionale, condannando, loro malgrado, i figli ad una vita di dolore e sofferenza.

Bambini che non avranno mai una vita normale, non potranno giocare, correre e saltare, ma dovranno accontentarsi di camminare zoppicando o con l’ausilio di stampelle e condurranno una vita da disabile.

Altre famiglie non possono poi portare i figli all’estero per riparare ai danni causati da anni di continue operazioni e terapie del tutto inutili e anzi dannose.

L' Associazione Nazionale Piede Torto Congenito è composta esclusivamente da genitori per i genitori, persone che volontariamente donano il proprio tempo libero, aiutano, fanno informazione etc, perchè tutti i bambini hanno il diritto ad avere una vita serena.

Il fondo sarà interamente devoluto alle famiglie in difficoltà, per visite in italia o all'estero.
