La composizione della nostra "squadra" :

Amilcar (4 anni, papà muratore. Iperattivo) , Diego (5 anni. Famiglia Numerosa e un Fratello ), Lucia e Axel. Poi ancora Lionzo, Carlos, Sefora e Estefany. : sono 6 dei 44 bambini/e trai i 4 e i 6 anni , che frequentano l’asilo “Gian Carlo Noris” a Yepocapa, Guatemala.

A questi, si aggiungono i 30 compagni, usciti dallo stesso asilo nel 2016-2017-2018, ora beneficiari delle nostre borse di studio e programma di rafforzamento pomeridiano.

A 109 infine, arriviamo aggiungendo i 35 bambini che frequentano l’asilo Beroya a Gongolamboto (Tanzania).

Rekko ONLUS e i Progetti Educativi 

Nell’arco di 5 anni, l’associazione Rekko ha visto crescere da 0 a 109 il numero di bambini che beneficiano direttamente del suo sostegno, in 2 diversi continenti : America e Africa.

Questa pagina, nasce per assicurare la copertura economica di tutti i progetti educativi durante l’anno 2019.

Guatemala

Nel 2012 Rekko ONLUS ha lanciato il progetto “Asilo Gian Carlo Noris” a San Pedro Yepocapa.

Nato dall’interessamento diretto del fondatore di Rekko Onlus, a cui è intitolato l’asilo stesso, il programma ha negli anni raggiunto una altissimo livello di professionalizzazione. Rekko decise di impegnarsi oltre che nel campo della salute, anche nel campo dell'educazione, per due motivi: 1) Arginare la drammatica situazione che caratterizza l'educazione pubblica in Guatemala (Scuole senza sedie, aule con oltre 55 bambini); 2) Diminuire l'incidenza di casi di maltratto dei minori che, spesso, si trovano a trascorrere molti momenti della loro infanzia in situazioni di pericolo e/o abbandono. 

Dopo 6 anni di intenso lavoro, oggi il nostro curriculum, le nostre maestre e i nostri bambini sono un riferimento per tutti i progetti educativi di Yepocapa  (30 mila abitanti, 1285 bambini tra i 3 e i 6 anni) e non solo.

Applicando una metodologia educativa innovativa - Plantando Semilla – offriamo un’educazione di primo livello a cominciare dagli “ultimi”; oltre 100 bambini hanno già completato il loro percorso di due anni e, ora, condividono all’interno dell’intera società civile quanto hanno appreso, allargando a tutta la comunità l’impatto del nostro lavoro.

La metodologia Plantando Semilla, ha trasformato le nostre due aule in aree di apprendimento dove i bambini si muovono liberamente sotto la supervisione delle maestre. Oltre al programma educativo, viene loro offerto gratuitamente : un programma nutrizionale, servizi medici, assistenza psicologica (quando necessario) e assistenza odontologica. 

Sempre a San Pedro Yepocapa- Guatemala , a fine 2016 Rekko ha lanciato un programma di borse di studio: ogni anno offriamo a 10 bambini che escono dal nostro asilo, la copertura totale delle spese scolastiche (retta, libri, divisa etc..) e un programma continuo di rafforzamento pomeridiano insieme alle nostre maestre. 

Ad oggi, 30 bambini fanno parte del programma : la maggior parte, segue il suo percorso scolastico con il massimo dei voti.

Tanti i sostenitori dei nostri progetti educativi in Guatemala nel corso degli anni: individui, famiglie, aziende, associazioni laiche e religiose, scuole e istituzioni. Tra queste: la Chiesa Valdese. Da ormai 3 anni infatti, la più importante (per volumi e qualità) finanziatrice di progetti di cooperazione nel mondo, sostiene il progetto confermando il valore e la trasparenza del nostro lavoro.

Tanzania

Nel 2016, Rekko si è impegnata in un progetto in Tanzania sostenendo economicamente – ma non solo- le attività di “Beroya Nursery School”.

Beroya è un progetto sorto direttamente dalle necessità della comunità: mancava un asilo e bambini cosi non riuscivano a prepararsi per i test di ingresso alle scuole elementari (ahimè, in Tanzania, funziona cosi). Mwana e Tuse, ragazze allora poco più che maggiorenni e provenienti dalla comunità stessa, si sono messe al lavoro. Dal 2016 al loro fianco : Rekko ONLUS.

Il progetto, con una forma semplificata rispetto ai nostri progetti in Guatemala, sostiene 35 bambini e le loro famiglie. La scuola è ubicata a Gongo La Mboto nell’area suburbana a ovest di Dar es Salaam, capitale economica della Tanzania.

Rekko ONLUS ha approcciato il progetto con tre obbiettivi, qui illustrati in ordine crescente di complessità: 1) attrezzare la scuola con i giusti strumenti e i giusti spazi; 2) assicurare alle maestre un compenso giusto per il loro lavoro; 3)riportare in questo progetto quanto Rekko ONLUS ha appreso nel campo dell’educazione in Guatemala.

The composition of our "team" is as follows :

Amilcar (4 years old, Hyperactive. His father is a carpenter.), Diego (5 years old. Numerous family and a Brother), Lucia and Axel. Then Lionzo, Carlos, Sefora and Estefany. Thess are 6 of the 44 children between the ages of 4 and 6 who attend the "Gian Carlo Noris" kindergarten in Yepocapa, Guatemala.

In addition to these, there are 30 peers, who left the same kindergarten in 2016-2017-2018, and who are now beneficiaries of our scholarships and afternoon strengthening programs.

We get to 109 by adding the 35 children who attend the Beroya kindergarten in Gongolamboto (Tanzania).

Rekko ONLUS and Educational Projects

In the space of 5 years, Rekko has seen the number of children directly benefiting from its support grow from 0 to 109. This happened between 2 different continents: America and Africa.

This page was created to ensure the economic coverage of all educational projects during the year 2019.

Guatemala

In 2012 Rekko ONLUS launched the project "Asilo Gian Carlo Noris" in San Pedro Yepocapa.

In 2012, Rekko decided to engage not only in the field of health, but also in the field of education.

This choice has two main reasons: 1) To stem the dramatic situation that characterizes public education in Guatemala (Schools without chairs, classrooms with over 55 children); 2) To reduce the incidence of cases of abuse of children who often find themselves spending many moments of their childhood in situations of danger and / or abandonment.

The program, which was born from the direct interest of the founder of Rekko (to whom the kindergarten itself is named after) has over the years reached a very high level of professionalization.

After 6 years of intense work, our curriculum, our teachers and our children are now a reference for all the educational projects of Yepocapa (30 thousand inhabitants, 1285 children between 3 and 6 years) and beyond.

Applying an innovative educational methodology - Plantando Semilla - we offer pre-elementary education starting from those who are otherwise “last” in their society; more than 100 children have already completed their two-year course and, now, they share within the whole civil society what they have learned, extending to the whole community the impact of our work.

The Plantando Semilla methodology has transformed our two classrooms into spaces divided into different learning areas where children move freely under the supervision of their teachers. In addition to the educational programme they are offered, free of charge: a nutritional programme, medical services, psychological assistance (when necessary) and dental assistance.

Also in San Pedro Yepocapa, Guatemala, at the end of 2016 Rekko launched a scholarship program: every year we offer 10 children leaving our kindergarten, full coverage of school expenses (tuition, books, uniforms, etc. ..) and a year-long program of tutoring in the afternoons.

To date, 30 children are part of the program: most of them attend their schooling with top marks.

There have been many supporters of our educational projects in Guatemala over the years: individuals, families, companies, lay and religious associations, schools and institutions.

Among these: the Waldensian Church. For the past 3 years, in fact, the most important (in terms of volume and quality) italian financier of cooperation projects in the world, supports Rekko confirming the value and transparency of our work.

Tanzania

In 2016, Rekko embarked on a project in Tanzania supporting economically - but not only - the activities of "Beroya Nursery School".

Beroya is a project born directly from the needs of the community: there was no kindergarten and children could not prepare for the tests of entry to primary schools (unfortunately, in Tanzania, it works like this). Mwana and Tuse, who were then just over 18 years old and came from the community itself, set to work.

Since 2016, we have been working alongside them.

The project, in a simplified form compared to our projects in Guatemala, supports 35 children and their families. The school is located in Gongo La Mboto in the suburban area west of Dar es Salaam, the economic capital of Tanzania.

Aside from educational activities, the school runs a nutritional program to support the students.

Rekko ONLUS approached the project with three objectives : 1) to equip the school with the right tools and the right spaces; 2) to ensure that the teachers receive a fair salary; 3) to bring back into this project what Rekko has learned in the field of education in Guatemala.
