Per la V Edizione della Mostra Internazionale Artes, l'associazione ha scelto di sostenere l'artista Sergey Dobrynov e le famiglie ucraine colpite dalla guerra.

Sergey Dobrynov è nato nella città di Lugansk, in Ucraina. Attualmente iscritto alla laurea magistrale dell'Istituto di Cultura, Sergey sta assistendo alla guerra che ha sconvolto il suo paese. Attraverso la sua arte, egli cerca di trasmettere la brutalità del conflitto armato in corso.

La nostra associazione è rimasta particolarmente colpita dal suo percorso artistico: pertanto, Artes ha scelto di organizzare una raccolta fondi per sostenerlo e, parallelamente, per portare aiuto ad altre famiglie in difficoltà.

La presente raccolta ha quindi un duplice scopo:

1. una parte verrà devoluta all'artista, che vedrà così garantita maggiore stabilità in un momento tragicamente delicato;
2. un'altra andrà a sostegno dell'associazione EverybodyCan, da tempo attiva per sostenere le famiglie ucraine in difficoltà.

Con la tua donazione garantirai quindi assistenza medica e beni di prima necessità a numerose persone. Sarà possibile donare sia qui (online, tramite bonifico bancario), sia in presenza, per tutta la durata della Mostra Internazionale Artes (8-15 ottobre) presso la Galleria Febo e Dafne di Torino.

For the V Edition of the Artes International Exhibition, the association has chosen to support the artist Sergey Dobrynov and the Ukrainian families war-stricken.

Sergey Dobrynov was born in the city of Lugansk, Ukraine. Currently attending the master’s degree of the Institute of Culture, Sergey is witnessing the war that has devastated his country. Through his art, he therefore seeks to convey the brutality of the armed conflict.

The artist contacted our association to ask for help: if we were able to sell his work, he could have set aside funds, which are particularly valuable in times of war.

This fundraising therefore has a dual purpose:

1. a part will be donated to the artist, who will thus obtain more stability in a tragically delicate moment;
2. another will instead support the EverybodyCan association, which has been active for a long time to help Ukrainian families in difficulty.

With your donation, you will therefore guarantee medical assistance and basic necessities for many people. It will be possible to donate both here (online, by bank transfer) and in person, for the entire duration of the Artes International Exhibition (8-15 October) at the Febo e Dafne Gallery in Turin.

«Il dipinto raffigura dei minatori che si spostano verso la luce ed escono dalla miniera, per tornare a casa. Sono tutti in un angolo, stanchi.

Questi sono i ricordi che ho del lavoro in miniera. Durante le vacanze estive, mentre studiavo, ho lavorato part-time per un mese in miniera nella città di Luhansk (Donbass).

Qui ho visto persone laboriose e gentili. Sono rimasto colpito dal coraggio e dalla forza dei minatori.

Pertanto ho scelto di rappresentarli, per farli conoscere ad altre persone.»

«The painting depicts miners going home, shifting towards the light and coming out of the mine. Everyone is in the corner, tired.

These are my memories of the mine work. During my student days in the summer holidays, I worked part-time for a month in a mine in the city of Luhansk (Donbass).

Here I saw hardworking, kind people. I was impressed by the courage and strength of the miners.

Therefore, I have chosen to depict them, in order to let others know about them.»
